Basketball Recap: Waldport Takes a Loss

Waldport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 63-17 loss at the hands of the Santiam Wolverines. The match marked the Irish's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Waldport's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Santiam, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Waldport will challenge Myrtle Point at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santiam, they will head out to face off against Salem Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
