There's no place like home for Minooka, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Indians who were credited with the victory on Wednesday. The Minooka Indians got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Yorkville Foxes's zero. Given Minooka's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Yorkville are ranked 200th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Minooka's record now sits at 13-1. As for Yorkville, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-8-1.
