             The Kosciusko Whippets will challenge the Shannon Red Raiders at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The last four games Kosciusko has played have been within three points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

 Kosciusko relied on the efforts of   Caiden Wade, who rushed for 30 yards and two touchdowns, and   Shy Williams, who picked up 32 receiving yards. Wade has become a key player for Kosciusko: the team is 4-1 when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.
 Meanwhile, Shannon waltzed into their game  on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They took their  matchup  with ease, bagging  a  48-14 win over the Gators. The Red Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 25  points or more this season.
 Kosciusko pushed their record up to 6-4 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 30.0 points per game. As for Shannon, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
 Everything came up roses for Kosciusko against Shannon in their previous meeting  back in November of 2015, as the  team secured  a  35-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kosciusko since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
