Soccer Recap: Lansingburgh Comes Up Short

Lansingburgh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the Loudonville Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, Lansingburgh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 238th, while Loudonville Christian are ranked 56th).

Lansingburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Loudonville Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Lansingburgh will face off against Schalmont at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loudonville Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
