Volleyball Recap: Grandview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Grandview was the 3-0 winner over Eaglecrest when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves fell 3-1 to the Raptors on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 18-25, 25-13.

Ali Jefferies paced Grandview's offense, picking up seven kills. Jefferies got some help from Julia Ulitzky and her 15 assists.

Eaglecrest was led to victory by Caitlin Lengefeld and Ella Mack. Lengefeld had 19 assists and eight digs, while Mack had 11 digs. That's the most digs Mack has posted over her last six matches. Cailyn Baldermann also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Grandview has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Eaglecrest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Grandview has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Cherokee Trail on the 18th. As for Eaglecrest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Cherry Creek on the 25th.
