Volleyball Recap: Plainfield Takes a Loss

Plainfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Whiteland Warriors, falling 3-0.

While Plainfield was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Whiteland's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-14, 25-18.

Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Whiteland, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.

Coming up, Plainfield will challenge Southport at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Whiteland, they will take on Columbus East at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
