Baseball Recap: Gorham Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Gorham entered their tilt with Littleton on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 11-4 win. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Isaac Langlois was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

In other batting news, Cooper Ladd and Jack Saladino did most of the damage at the plate: Ladd went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double, while Saladino went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three hits gave Ladd a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gavin Corrigan, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Gorham pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Littleton, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-8.

Gorham will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Crusaders: the pair will be back at it again later today.
