Basketball Recap: Marie Philip Takes a Loss

Marie Philip was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the British International Bulldogs, falling 31-6. The contest marked the Galloping Ghosts' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

They used a three-pronged attack on offense: Lindsay Alvizurez, Kai Gabriel, and Kimberlie Ange posted two points each. Raydiris Disla-Garcia held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

Marie Philip's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for British International, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Marie Philip will face off against Academy at Penguin Hall at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. British International does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
