Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wagner). They breezed by the Veterans Memorial Patriots to the tune of 92-27 on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Wagner was led to victory by La Sneed and Jenae Moore. Sneed almost dropped a triple-double on 29 points, nine assists, and nine steals, while Moore went 8 of 13 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and five assists. The dominant performance gave Moore a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Nia Mcbride, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 12 points and three steals.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Wagner was working as a unit and finished the game with 27 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win (which was Wagner's ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.1 points per game. As for Veterans Memorial, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Wagner will take on Smithson Valley in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Wagner's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Smithson Valley has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. Veterans Memorial and Tivy will compete for holiday cheer at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
