Baseball Recap: Norco Gets the Win

Norco lost to Orange Lutheran back in April of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Norco Cougars had just enough and edged out the Orange Lutheran Lancers 2-1.

Trent Schlim looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Norco's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Ayala, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

The victory got Norco back to even at 1-1. As for Orange Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars duke it out with the Lions at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orange Lutheran, they are taking a road trip to square off against Arrowhead Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
