Football Recap: St. Francis Borgia Comes Up Short

After flying high against Holt last Friday, St. Francis Borgia came back down to earth. The Knights lost 42-21 to the Vianney Golden Griffins on Friday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Griffins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

St. Francis Borgia's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Vianney, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5.

Coming up, St. Francis Borgia will head out to square off against Osage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Vianney, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Belleville West at 6:00 p.m.
