Baseball Recap: Barrington Wins High-Profile Matchup Against South Kingstown

Barrington faced South Kingstown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Eagles walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Rebels. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 11-0 win the Rebels walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2022.

Barrington pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for South Kingstown, they moved to 13-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
