Basketball Recap: Alliance Aviators vs. Louisville Leopards
Alliance lost against Louisville back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Alliance Aviators had to suffer through a 68-36 loss at the hands of the Louisville Leopards. The Aviators were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-15.
Louisville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tate Aljancic, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Brayden Gross, who went 8 for 9 en route to 18 points and five rebounds.
Alliance's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6. As for Louisville, their victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4.
