Volleyball Recap: Valmeyer Pirates vs. Steeleville Warriors
Valmeyer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Steeleville Warriors. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
After all that action, the final score was 25-19, 25-11.
Valmeyer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Steeleville, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Valmeyer will head out on the road to challenge Trico at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Trico is coming into the contest with four straight victories at home, so Valmeyer will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Steeleville, they will welcome Okawville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Steeleville is facing Okawville at the right time seeing as Okawville is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
