Space Coast is 1-9 against Titusville since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Space Coast Vipers will welcome the Titusville Terriers at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Space Coast is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Calvary Chapel Academy on Friday as Space Coast made off with a 23-4 victory. The win continues a trend for the Vipers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.
Jacob Leos made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits (and not a single walk). Leos was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Space Coast got a massive performance out of Kayden Thomas, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Thomas has become a key player for Space Coast: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Joseph Henry, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Space Coast kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in February of 2024.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Titusville made sure to put some runs up on the board against Cocoa on Wednesday. Titusville was the clear victors by a 28-4 margin over Cocoa. With that victory, the Terriers brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.
Like Space Coast, Titusville also got a great game from a two-way player: Jake Roberts. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Roberts was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season.
In other pitching news, Chase Hill looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Nolan Edwards, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Bercaw, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
The win got Space Coast back to even at 4-4. As for Titusville, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4.
