It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Benedictine had no problem doing just that on Friday. They never let the Catholic Crusaders get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Considering Benedictine have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Catholic with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Harrison Efford, Gavin Team, and Price Draucker.

Benedictine pushed their record up to 12-3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those five matches. As for Catholic, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-12-3.

Benedictine has already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Bishop O'Connell on the 3rd. Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
