San Clemente entered their tilt with La Costa Canyon on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 73-54 victory over the Mavericks. For the Tritons, this counts as revenge for the 66-54 win the Mavericks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2021.

Desi Gutierrez produced another solid effort shooting 78% from the field to rack up 19 points and seven rebounds. Bryan Blake was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine assists.
