Soccer Game Preview: Eldorado vs. Sunrise Mountain

The Eldorado Firehawks will face off against the Sunrise Mountain Miners at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Eldorado is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.

Eldorado is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Las Vegas just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. Xophia Vong probably wasn't too happy after the match: she scored every single goal for Eldorado and still walked away on the losing team.

Meanwhile, Sunrise Mountain was able to grind out a solid win over Chaparral on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

Sunrise Mountain's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-9-2. As for Eldorado, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.

Eldorado took their win against Sunrise Mountain in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Firehawks repeat their success, or do the Miners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
