Soccer Recap: Ysleta Comes Up Short

Ysleta managed to slip by Bowie the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians lost 3-0 to the Bears on Wednesday. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Ysleta it sure didn't stay that way.

Ysleta's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Bowie, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ysleta is set to face off against their familiar foe Austin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bowie will challenge rival Harmony Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
