After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McClintock, Carl Hayden Community was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Fairfax Stampede. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Stampede: they've now won three in a row.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-27, 25-11, 25-16.
Adrian Pita Guaydacan had a dynamite game, getting 18 digs and three aces. What's more, he posted two assists, the most he's had over his last seven contests. Martin Cervantes also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.
