Softball Recap: Dixie Heights Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ludlow last Saturday, Dixie Heights came back down to earth. The Colonels took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holy Cross Indians on Sunday. The Colonels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2017.

Dixie Heights' defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Holy Cross, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11-1.

As of now, neither Dixie Heights nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
