Baseball Game Preview: Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks vs. Odessa Bulldogs

The Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks will venture away from home to take on the Odessa Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Pleasant Hill and Clinton meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Roosters/Chicks took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Roosters/Chicks' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Odessa, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against Center on Monday as they made off with an 11-1 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Pleasant Hill's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Odessa, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Pleasant Hill couldn't quite finish off Odessa in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 6-4. Can the Roosters/Chicks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
