Recap: Magee vs. Mendenhall
Mendenhall won the last time they faced Magee, and things went their way on Thursday, too. Everything went Mendenhall's way against Magee as they made off with a 46-18 win. Not happy with the 18-15 score at halftime, Mendenhall made a real splash in the second half.
Mendenhall's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 18 points in the first half. Magee came up with 15 to make it 18-15 heading into the break. The other side of the ball was dominant for Mendenhall in the second half, holding Magee to a measly 3 points. The victory bumped Mendenhall's record up to 3-0. The loss dropped Magee's record to 2-1.
Mendenhall hope to keep the momentum going despite some extra time before their next game against Purvis at PURVIS HS at 7:00 PM in two weeks. Magee will look to defend their home turf next week against Collins at 7:00 PM.
