Softball Recap: Wayne Badgers vs. Panguitch Bobcats
Wayne lost against Panguitch on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wayne Badgers fell 25-20 to the Panguitch Bobcats. Wayne has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
MaKayla Jones and Aj VanDyke stepped up to the plate in a big way. Jones went 3-for-5 with a home run, three runs, and two RBI, while VanDyke went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. VanDyke has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lilly Morrill, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
On Panguitch's side, Kadee Harland was a standout: she got on base in six of her seven plate appearances with a home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Jocelyn Certonio, who went 4-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI.

Wayne will be playing at home against Gunnison Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
