On Wednesday, Moanalua faced Pearl City in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Moanalua Menehune blew past the Pearl City Chargers 5-2. The Menehune might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by three goals or more this season.

Moanalua's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six contests. As for Pearl City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6-2.
