Basketball Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short

Freedom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Armwood Hawks 80-17. The matchup marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jaliyah Bandy was her usual excellent self, going 8 for 13 en route to 17 points along with eight boards and six steals for Armwood. Amaya Richardson was another key player, going 5 of 6 on her way to 14 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Freedom's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Armwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2.

Freedom has already played their next game (against Alonso), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Armwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-38 win against Durant on the 15th.
