Midway put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Harker Heights Knights a 5-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Knights back in March, they had to take a 7-5 loss.

Midway is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Harker Heights, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-7-1.
