Basketball Recap: Calhoun County Takes a Loss

Calhoun County lost against Randolph-Clay two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Calhoun County Cougars received a blow as they fell 51-32 to the Randolph-Clay Red Devils.

Randolph-Clay got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Akia Seymore out in front who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Kamerria West, who earned 13 points and three steals.

Calhoun County's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Randolph-Clay, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Calhoun County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 46-45 win against Pelham on the 14th. As for Randolph-Clay, they have also already played their next game, a 35-34 victory against Seminole County on the 14th.
