Basketball Recap: East Carter Comes Up Short

East Carter suffered their closest defeat since December 7, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Greenup County Musketeers by a score of 55-52. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-49 back in January.

East Carter dropped their record down to 5-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Greenup County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.

East Carter has already played their next matchup (against Model), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Greenup County will face off against Raceland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Raceland will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Greenup County surely won't give up without a fight.
