Volleyball Recap: Van Buren Starts Season with Win Against Queens Teaching

Van Buren had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Queens Teaching Tigers on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Vee Bees, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Queens Teaching's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Van Buren is set to face off against their familiar foe Richmond Hill at 4:30 p.m. on the 9th. Meanwhile, Queens Teaching will square off against rival Metropolitan at 5:30 p.m. on the 9th.
