Volleyball Recap: Northwest Cabarrus' Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Northwest Cabarrus had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Salisbury Hornets on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since August 21st.

Northwest Cabarrus took Salisbury into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 20-25, 26-24, 25-14, 24-26, 15-10.

Northwest Cabarrus' victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Salisbury, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
