Baseball Recap: Lynden Christian Comes Up Short

Lynden Christian lost against Burlington-Edison back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lyncs fell 6-1 to the Tigers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Lynden Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-3 record this season. As for Burlington-Edison, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lynden Christian will challenge rival Bellingham at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Burlington-Edison is set to take on their familiar foe Meridian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in the Tigers' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Trojans have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
