Softball Recap: Pecos Victorious

On Thursday, the Pecos Eagles were able to grind out a solid win over the Amarillo Sandies, taking the game 7-3.

The team relied heavily on P Rayos, who went a perfect1-for-1 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Audri Morales was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Pecos always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. The last time their OBP was this high was back in February of 2024.

Pecos' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Amarillo, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1.
