Volleyball Recap: Hammond Morton Takes a Loss

Hammond Morton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-11.

Hammond Morton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hammond Morton will take on rival Hammond Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hammond Bishop Noll is set to square off against their familiar foe Crown Point at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
