Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Nettleton came out on top against Hatley by a score of 5-1. This was payback for Nettleton, who suffered a 10-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Nettleton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Travis Sullivan, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Another was Benton Dabbs, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Nettleton has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs this season. As for Hatley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Nettleton will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against West Point at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Green Wave have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Hatley, they will be playing at home against Shannon at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
