Volleyball Recap: Chino Hills' Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road + How To Watch

Chino Hills's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Glendora Tartans. This was payback for the Huskies, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

While Chino Hills won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 28-26, 25-17.

Yanizza Gutierrez was nothing short of spectacular: she had 20 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave her a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Chino Hills was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Glendora still got an impressive performance from Kaleia Zeits, who had 21 digs and two aces. Zeits is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 22 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lorelei Adams, who had six digs and two aces.

Chino Hills' victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2. As for Glendora, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chino Hills will square off against Roosevelt at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glendora, they will challenge Redlands at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
