Lipan is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will take on the Graford Rabbits at 6:30 p.m. Lipan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Lipan fell victim to Gordon and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 1-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rabbits considering their one-run performance the match before.

Nick Bloxham and Reed Feeguson were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Bloxham tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Feeguson struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Bloxham has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single hit in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Bloxham scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Feeguson scored three runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. That's the most hits Bloxham has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kamdyn Richardson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-6. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Cye Lemley was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances.

Graford's record now sits at 4-0. As for Lipan, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-4.
