Clarion Area extended the longest winning streak in Keystone Shortway - Small this week by beating Allegheny-Clarion Valley, 49-14. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.

Redbank Valley took down Clarion-Limestone 42-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Clarion Area's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. John Katis threw for 178 and three touchdowns and Cody Hearst had 82 yards receiving. On the ground TJ Armstrong chipped in 125 yards. Camron Kirkland helped Clarion Area's passing attack out by catching three balls for 74 yards.

Clarion Area's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bobcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Katis has thrown for 1123 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Hearst has 23 catches for 523 yards. Armstrong leads the league in rushing with 686 yards.

Larry Wiser's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on the Falcons. Katis ran for two yards in the win.
