Volleyball Recap: Pandora-Gilboa's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Pandora-Gilboa hadn't done well against Liberty-Benton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Rockets walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Rockets sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Pandora-Gilboa was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 20-25, 29-27.

Pandora-Gilboa found their leader in sophomore Annabelle Benton, who had five digs and four aces.

Pandora-Gilboa was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in nine consecutive matches.

Pandora-Gilboa's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Liberty-Benton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-7.

Looking ahead, Pandora-Gilboa is taking a road trip to take on Kalida at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Liberty-Benton, after both having extra time off, they and Paulding will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
