Volleyball Recap: MAST Academy Comes Up Short

MAST Academy lost against Homestead back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The MAST Academy Makos lost 3-0 to the Homestead Broncos. The Makos just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

While MAST Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-22.

MAST Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Homestead, the win snapped their losing streak at six games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-2 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. MAST Academy will take on Carol City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be MAST Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Homestead, they will face off against Killian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Homestead is facing Killian at the right time seeing as Killian is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
