Basketball Recap: Rossville Snags Eighth Win in Last Ten Games

Rossville won the last time they faced Faith Christian, and Brayden Thiele-Hahn did his part to make sure it happened again. The Rossville Hornets took down the Faith Christian Eagles 84-68 on Saturday which was due in part to Thiele-Hahn, who shot 7-for-13 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double with 31 points and nine rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Skiles, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards. Those 12 rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Faith Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Luke Miller, who posted 17 points in addition to eight assists and eight boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Grant Callan, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 18 points.

Rossville has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points over those games. Faith Christian dropped their record down to 4-17 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Rossville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 71-47 loss against West Lafayette on the 27th. As for Faith Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-46 win against South Newton on the 24th.
