            Flag Football Recap: Calvary Day Cavaliers vs. Groves Rebels        
        
		
        
        
            After soaring to 45  points the game before, Calvary Day was a bit more limited  in their  game  on Monday. They took  a  13-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Groves Rebels. The  contest was a  0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Cavaliers couldn't quite close it out.
 Page Stewart threw for 180 yards and one  TD.   Kylie Singleton was her top target, picking up 82 receiving yards.
 Groves can attribute much of their success to  Tamiya Washington, who threw for 165 yards and a pair of  touchdowns, and also rushed for 34 yards. Washington didn't just play on offense: she also made three total tackles and defended three passes in addition to snagging  an  interception.
Calvary Day's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Groves, the  victory was  the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.
 Calvary Day has already played their next matchup,  a  32-6  loss against Jenkins on the 21st. As for Groves, they will host Claxton  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
