Softball Recap: Presentation Comes Up Short

Presentation fell victim to Portland Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Sunday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss back in March.

Presentation saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordyn Murrell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. That hit marked the first that Murrell has got this season.

Presentation has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Portland Christian, their record is now 6-8.

Coincidentally, Presentation and Portland Christian will both be playing Washington County the next time they take the field. The Toppers will head out to face the Commanders at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
