Lovelady made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Normangee, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lovelady Lions blew past the Normangee Panthers 10-0 on Friday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Lovelady is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. Normangee is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Lovelady wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Slocum on the 10th. As for Normangee, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-0 defeat against Joaquin on the 8th.
