Basketball Recap: Anderson Homeschool's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Anderson HomeSchool entered their tilt with Flathead Valley on Wednesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 60-55 W against the Flathead Valley Crusaders. The win was all the more spectacular given the SONS' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 225th in Indiana, while the Crusaders are ranked 75th in Montana).

Anderson HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bennett Long out in front who shot 50% from the field to rack up 20 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Looper, who posted 12 points.

Anderson HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 21-15. As for Flathead Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Anderson HomeSchool has already played their next game, a 58-52 victory against Columbus HomeSchool on the 13th. Flathead Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
