Baseball Recap: Menendez Takes a Loss

Menendez and Bishop Kenny squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Menendez had to settle for second. They came up short against the Crusaders, falling 13-5. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Menendez saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Roy, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Another was Dillon Mitchell, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Menendez's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Bishop Kenny, their win bumped their record up to 6-19.

Menendez does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Kenny, they will take on Yulee at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight.
