Volleyball Recap: Plainfield North's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Plainfield North had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Plainfield Central Wildcats on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 two weeks ago.

Plainfield North found their leader in sophomore Dylan O'Connor, who had nine digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for O'Connor. Another player making a difference was Joey cavlovic, who had 30 assists and nine digs.

Plainfield North's win bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Plainfield Central, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Plainfield North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Willowbrook on the 26th. As for Plainfield Central, they are taking a road trip to square off against Joliet West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
