Junior All-AmericansPLAYER OF THE YEAR - Alyssa Goehner, Lakeville (Minn.), 6-2

Goehner, who gave an oral commitment to play at Marquette University when she was a freshman, had 536 kills, 244 digs and a .906 service percentage in leading the Panthers to a 32-1 season and state title. Her power, finesse and athleticism have helped guide the Panthers to the state tournament for three consecutive seasons (they've won twice). The only loss during the 2012 season was by forfeit.
MB/MH - Haleigh Washington, Doherty (Colorado Springs, Colo.), 6-4 Washington led Doherty to the state title and a 29-0 season. She had 346 kills, 101 blocks and 35 digs.
OH - Reily Buechler, Torrey Pines (San Diego), 6-2 Buechler was the top player on a talented 31-5 Torrey Pines team. She recorded 424 kills, 267 digs and 30 aces and has committed to UCLA.
OH - Clare Powers, Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, Calif.), 6-3 Despite being the major focus of opposing teams, Powers played a key role in the Monarchs winning the California D-II title and going unbeaten in 38 matches. She totaled 366 kills, 212 digs, 38 blocks and had 96 percent out of 331 serves.
OH - Courtney Schwan, Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, Wash.), 6-4 Schwan
was Washington's top player and led the Lions to the state 4A title and
31-2 record. In four tourney matches at state, Schwan amassed 82 kills,
16 aces and 42 digs. She has committed to Washington.
OH - Simone Lee, Menomonee Falls (Wis.), 6-1 Lee
led the Indians to a 40-9 record and state finals appearance. She
totaled 667 kills ,77 aces, 352 digs, 65 blocks and 558 serve
receptions.
OH - Sarah Wallace, Branson (Ross, Calif.), 5-10 Wallace
led Branson to a 38-2 record and California D-V state title. She
recorded 477 kills, 319 digs, 97.5 percent serving (only eight errors in
290 serves) and 47 blocks.
OH - Carli Snyder, Dakota (Macomb, Mich.), 6-2 Snyder led Dakota to Michigan's Class A state title and a 43-3 record. She had 931 kills on the season.
OH - Alexis Conaway, MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, Iowa), 6-0 Conaway
led MOC-Floyd Valley to the Class 3A state championship and was named
Iowa's State Player of the Year. A standout in basketball and track,
Conaway slammed 489 kills for a 33-8 squad that won each of its last
nine matches in its first state tournament appearance.

Sponcil
led 28-4 Veritas Prep to the state title in Arizona's smallest division
as she recorded 438 kills, 530 assists, 220 digs, 69 aces and 39
blocks. Sponcil had a hand in 89 percent of Veritas Prep's 1,091 kills
this season. A two-time Arizona Small Schools Player of the Year, she
has committed to Loyola Marymount for hardwood and sand.
S/OH - Kali Eaken, Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, Kan.), 5-9 Eaken led Bishop Meige to the state semifinals with 1,073 assists, 244 digs, 54 blocks and 177 kills.
S - Alexa Filley, Assumption (Louisville, Ky.), 5-8 Filley was first team All-State with 845 assists, 50 kills and 184 digs as the Rockets repeated as state champions and won 38 of 40 games. She has committed to Western Kentucky.
S - Sydney Chandler, Bayside Academy (Daphne, Ala.), 5-8 Chandler is the third member of the Bayside Academy team to earn A-A status. In helping Bayside to its 11th-straight state title, Chandler recorded 130 aces, 54 blocks, 205 digs and 1,465 assists. A starter as an eighth grader, Chandler earned her fourth state title.
S - Taylor Gustafson, Judge Memorial (Salt Lake City), 5-9 Gustafson led the nation with an average of 14.5 assists as she totaled 902 in leading Judge Memorial to a 28-5 record. She also had a 92.8 percentage on 334 serves.
S - Allie Monserez, Bishop Moore (Orlando, Fla.), 5-10 The playmaker for unbeaten Bishop Moore (Florida 4A title winner), she totaled 202 digs, 36 kills, 40 aces and 850 assists.
S - Maggie Scott, Lafayette (Wildwood, Mo.), 5-11 Scott was a key component in Lafayette going unbeaten (40-0) and winning the state title as she averaged 10.9 assists per set (872). She also tallied 42 blocks, 263 digs and 38 kills. She has committed to Oregon.
DS - Hannah Strat, Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, Mich.), 5-4 Stratt garnered 777 digs, 69 aces and had only 23 errors in 551 serves (69 aces). The Fighting Irish were 52-10 on the season.
AA - Alexis Patterson, Northwest Christian (Phoenix), 6-0 Patterson led Northwest to a 31-12 record with 436 kills, 109 aces, 35 blocks, 343 digs and 393 assists.
AA - Jo-Leigh Vervelde, Oostburg (Wis.), 5-10 Vervelde
led Oostburg to a 44-4 record and its third D-3 state championship. She
recorded 520 kills, 210 aces (93.6 percent on 626 serves), 371 digs,
801 assists and 113 blocks. With Vervelde doing a lot of everything,
Oostburg won 115 games and lost 13.
AA - Nia Reed, Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, N.J.), 6-2 Reed
led IHA to the state title and an 18-2 record. Reed, who led the state
in kills with 525 and also totaled 100 blocks, 122 digs and had 42
aces, was named New Jersey Player of the Year.

Sophomore All-AmericansPLAYER OF THE YEAR: Katherine Carlson, Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, Mich.)Carlson amassed 923 kills in leading NDP to a 52-10 record. She also totaled 403 digs, 45 aces and 62 blocks.
MB - Hannah Bailey, Cameron (Wis.), 6-2 In leading Cameron to a 23-9-1 record, Bailey compiled 449 kills, 50 aces, 177 digs and 108 blocks.
MB - Mikaela Foecke, Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, Iowa), 6-3 The
most prolific hitter in the state in kill efficiency and kills, with
601. She also recorded 208 digs, 106 blocks (45 solo) and served 95
percent with 60 aces as Holy Trinity went 42-4 and won another state
title
MH/MB - Anna Walsh, Heritage (Colleyville, Texas), 6-2Walsh was a key part of the 42-6 Heritage team with 315 kills, 97 digs and 46 blocks.
OH - Briana Weber, Dike-New Hartford (Dike, Iowa), 5-9 Weber led Dike-New Hartford to a 45-0 season and the Iowa 2A state championship. Weber, who has committed to Northern Iowa, registered 511 kills and 43 aces.
OH - Shealene Little, Culver (Ore.), 6-0 The state's most dominating 2A player, Little led Culver (26-5-1) to the Oregon 2A championship. She totaled 502 kills, 102 aces, 212 digs and 18 blocks.
OH - Kayla Ellis, Century (Pocatello, Idaho), 5-8 Ellis tallied 591 kills, 32 blocks, 411 digs and 64 aces as Century won the state 4A title and 41 of its 44 matches.
OH - Beth Prince, Avon (Ind.), 6-3 Prince led Avon to a 34-5 record and second-straight state title. She totaled 505 kills, 45 aces, 192 digs and 57 blocks.
OH - Carly Skjodt, Carmel (Ind.), 6-0 In
leading Carmel to a 39-2 record and state runner-up finish, Skjodt
compiled 527 kills, 74 blocks, 41 aces, 463 digs and 366 serve
receptions with only 12 errors.
OH/DS - Abby Brown, Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, W. Va.), 5-8

recorded 550 kills as the Spartans won 41 of 50 matches and reached
state quarterfinals. She also had 78 aces (355 serves), 343 digs and
585 serve receptions.
S - Kylie Pickrell, Coppell (Texas), 5-11 A playmaker for Texas 5A champions, as she tallied 1,352 assists, 85 kills, 54 blocks and 282 digs.
S - Rachel Koop, Dike-New Hartford (Dike, Iowa), 5-10 Koop helped lead Dike-New Hartford to a 45-0 season and a 2A Iowa state title. The Northern Iowa commit recorded 1,155 assists, 129 digs and 43 aces.
S - Briana Ainsworth, Cleveland (Rio Rancho, N.M.), 5-8 Ainsworth dished out 992 assists and recorded 85 kills and 219 digs as Cleveland (22-2) won the New Mexico 5A state title. She also served 95.8 percent on 350 serves.
L/DS - Riley Sents, Grundy Center (Iowa), 5-5 Sents tallied 755 digs, 49 aces, 617 serve receives (only 27 errors) in leading Grundy Center to the state title.
L/DS - Alex Roggero, Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), 5-6 In leading Gorman to a 24-11 record, Roggero registered 35 aces, 630 digs and 474 receptions.
DS/L - Amber MacDonald, Blessed Trinity (Roswell, Ga.), 5-3 MacDonald totaled 532 digs and had served 95 percent on 550 serves (54 aces) on Georgia's No. 1 team.
L - Rachel Petkosh, Merritt Island (Fla.), 5-6 A defensive stalwart on Merritt Island's Florida 5A championship team, Petkosh set a school record in 2011 with 5.09 digs per game (509 total). In 2012, she had 454 digs and 51 aces.
AA - Alyse Wallace Ford, Laguna Beach (Calif.), 5-9 Wallace-Ford recorded 488 Kills (54 percent), 40 aces, 21 blocks and 159 digs as Laguna Beach went 18-7.

Gray, a 5-9 setter, helped lead St. James to a state title and 40-4 record. She totaled 1057 assists, 66 blocks, 256 digs and had 86 kills.
MB - Audriana Fitzmorris, St. James Academy (Lenexa, Kan.) 6-4 Despite
missing six weeks of the season, Fitzmorris totaled 86 blocks (53 solo)
and had 152 kills in helping the Thunder win the state title and 40 of
44 matches.
MB - Katie Kendrick, Allen Central (Eastern, Ky.), 5-10 Kendrick
amassed 406 kills, 62 aces (371 serves), 187 blocks and had 235 digs as
the Rebels went 33-6 and reached the state quarterfinals.
MH/MB - Sarah Langs, Lovejoy (Lucas, Texas), 6-2 Langs helped lead Lovejoy to the Texas 4A state title and a 48-4 record. She totaled 209 kills (133 solo), 173 blocks and 23 aces.
MB/OH - Ashlyn Dunbar, Clear Falls (League City, Texas), 5-11 Dunbar led Clear Falls to a 34-10 record with 344 kills, 91 percent serving on 468 serves (35 aces), 105 blocks and 138 digs.
OH/MB - Madeline Rysztak, St. Francis (Traverse City, Mich.), 5-10

Rysztak led St. Francis to a 42-8-3 record and tallied 276 kills, 287 digs, 82 aces, 47 blocks and 513 serve receptions.
OH - Hanna Meyer, Tomahawk (Wis.), 5-10 Meyer led 35-10 Tomahawk with 625 serve receptions, 57 aces, 224 kills and 305 digs.
OH - Khalia Lanier, Xavier College Prep (Phoenix), 6-1 Lanier
helped Xavier to a 34-11 record and state runner-up trophy. She totaled
333 kills, 38 blocks, 30 aces, 144 digs and 315 serve receptions.
OH - Abby Buckingham, Churchill (San Antonio), 6-1 In leading Churchill to a 32-12 record, Buckingham totaled 533 kills, 56 aces, 58 blocks and 89 digs.
OH - Celeste James, Thomas Jefferson (Denver), 5-11 James had excellent numbers for the 20-4 Spartans with 311 kills, 239 digs, 49 blocks and 38 aces.
OH - Hunter Atherton, Pleasant (Marion, Ohio), 6-0 Atherton registered 297 assists, 149 digs, 37 blocks, 49 aces and 410 kills in leading Pleasant to a 19-6 record.
OH - M.E. Dodge, East Troy (Wis.), 5-11 Dodge helped East Troy reach the state finals as she chipped in 379 kills, 70 aces and 593 receptions with only 36 errors.
S - Brianna Sitton, Leon (Jewett, Texas), 5-5 Sitton dished out 1,162 assists as Leon recorded a 42-4 record and won the Texas Class A championship. She also had 216 digs and 75 aces in 553 serves.
S - Taylor Parrish, North Cobb (Kennesaw, Ga.), 5-9 Parrish was another setter with more than 1,000 assists (1,028). She also totaled 191 digs and 69 aces in 465 serves.
L/DS - Taylor Turner, Cooper (The Woodlands, Texas), 5-7 Turner led Cooper to a 34-10 record and collected 777 digs and 33 aces.
L/DS - Sarah Pemberton, South Warren (Bowling Green, Ky.), 5-6 Pemberton led South Warren to a 24-12 record as she amassed 405 digs, 81 aces and 496 serve receptions.
AA - Kendra Sater, Ozark (Ark.), 5-5 Sater totaled 199 kills, 25 aces, 250 digs and 404 assists as Ozark was 29-9 in 2012.
AA - Kylie Miller, Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.), 5-10 Miller led RCHS to a 28-6 record with 339 kills, 50 aces,188 digs and 414 assists. She also had just two errors in 74 serve receptions.
AA - Celeste Fitzgerald, Walton (Marietta, Ga.), 5-7 Fitzgerald was a key player as Walton won the Georgia 6A title. She had 565 assists, 50 aces and 92 digs.
