Monomoy has gone a perfect 10-0 against Nantucket recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Sharks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Whalers at 4:00 p.m. Monomoy's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Nantucket's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Meanwhile, Nantucket came up short against Mashpee on Thursday and fell 9-4.

Nantucket has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Monomoy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
