Volleyball Recap: Coolidge Comes Up Short

Coolidge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. David Tigers.

Coolidge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for St. David, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-16 record this season.

Coolidge will venture away from home to face off against Apache Junction at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. David, they have already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Marcos de Niza on the 11th.
